Berkeley Public Library invites you to a free 1-hour workshop about end-of-life planning at 12:00 on Wednesday, July 6, 2011 in the 3rd floor Community Meeting Room at Berkeley’s Central Library, 2090 Kittredge Street. Responsible end-of-life planning can save heartache and help preserve family legacy. Yet facing end-of-life decisions for one’s family members or oneself can feel scary, awkward and confusing. Come learn about the basics in a one hour presentation by Jennifer Kern, JD, MA. This free educational program at the Central Library will provide patrons with basic information about important topics including advanced health care directives, wills, probate, powers of attorney for finances and more.
