Board of Library Trustees

The Berkeley Public Library is administered by a Board of Library Trustees [BOLT], the only appointed administrative Board appointed by the City Council in the City of Berkeley. The Board of Library Trustees webpage has links to their meeting agendas and minutes from current and past meetings as well as contact information.

Policies

Our library policies are formed in line with our Mission Statement and the ALA Library Bill of Rights. Our Unattended Children Policy provides procedure to help us return children to their parents or guardians. Services such as Exam Proctoring and Internet Access have policies to help us provide equal access to everyone. Please read our Rules of Conduct to help provide a safe and welcoming environment for all. Those with a camera please take note of our Noncommercial Photography and Filming Policy.
