If you like to play chess or would like to learn, come by North Branch Library each third Wednesday of the month. We will meet outside the North Branch entrance from 2pm to 4pm for casual games or tips on how to play. Chess sets will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own. All ages and experience levels are welcome to this outdoor chess program.

San Francisco Magician Perry Yan offers a magic show has been time tested through thousands of performances for kids and families! Perry’s Magic Show will have the kids AND adults entertained from start to finish!
This program will take place on the lawn of the North Branch.

What happens at the library when it's closed? We will share our mysterious world at night with your stuffed animal friends at North Branch's Stuffed Animal Sleepover.
Drop off your stuffed animal to North Branch on June 20 and June 21. When you drop off your stuffy, you will sign permission slips and name tags. If you want, you can read a bedtime story to your stuffed animal and say goodnight.

We hope you will join us for our first in-person children’s programs since 2020! Our story time band will lead two 30 minutes sessions: one for children ages 2-5 and the other for kindergarteners and 1st graders.
