Drawing and Talking Little Monarchs w/ Jonathan Case - TIME CHANGE

Thanks to all those who registered for the event!

Unfortunately Jonathan Case experienced some car trouble on his drive up to the Bay Area. He still hopes to make the event, with a shift in time.

The event will now take place with Jonathan from 4:30-5:30pm, and at 4pm we will also have some art materials and guidance if you’d like to get drawing. At that time you would also be able to get a free copy of Little Monarchs while supplies last, along with wildflower seed packets to take home!

We will keep you updated if anything else changes!

Meet us at the Peralta Community Garden for an afternoon of nature drawing w/ the Museum of Children's Art (MOCHA)!

We are kicking off our series around the #PlantWildflowers Initiative with a drawing session at the Peralta Community Garden, one of our partners on this project. Located at 1400 Peralta Ave in Berkeley, we will be able to sit in the garden, and receive instruction on how we can observe and draw the flora around us.

Join us for an exciting Art Talk on Zoom presented by Marsha Holm, a docent from the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco!  This month's topic: Soul of a Nation: Art in the Age of Black Power

Does art have the power to impact lives or change attitudes? Can a work of art stir our consciences? Mobilize us to action?  And do artists have an obligation to use their work as a mechanism through which a political movement can be furthered?
