You will confront many decisions in preparing your resume. How far back to go? Should you show a work gap? What is the best way to present your transferable skills? Is it better to list several jobs with an employer or combine them? What are some ways to focus the reader on your strengths when you have held several jobs? We will help you sort through the many moving parts of resume preparation. In addition to answering your questions we will demonstrate possibilities by showing novel approaches. Rules and formatting standards for resumes can be modified to serve your purposes, but you will want to understand best practices and evaluate risks. In going against the norms, for example, you might divide the Experience section into subsections. Or you might place examples beneath a bullet point. Or you might set off a highlight for each job held.
