About:

Rachel Michelle Wilson is a children’s book author-illustrator with a sweet tooth and a dash of sass. Her debut picture book HOW TO PEE YOUR PANTS: THE RIGHT WAY is about a bird who turns an embarrassing moment into a triumph of humanity; it received both Kirkus and Publishers Weekly starred reviews. When Rachel is not making books, you can find her puzzling over a logic problem, hosting a living room dance party, or paddle boarding near her home in Washington state with her husband and dog.

With a racial equity and social justice lens, MOCHA uses the arts as a vehicle to advocate for self-expression, culture and community-building, and the centering of youth voices. We achieve this through hands-on experiential arts education for Bay Area children, youth and their families, arts integrated Professional Development  and curriculum for educators.
