Whether you're figuring out a new device you got as a gift or just want to take on a new skill, we invite you to join us for an evening of learning basic computing and getting to ask your related questions in a low-pressure group environment.
We'll be covering the parts of a computing device (including desktops, laptops, tablets, and smart phones), typical button and screen functionality, and effectively troubleshooting hardware issues. You're welcome to bring your mobile device(s) with you as well as use our varied devices.
We recommend this workshop for tech beginners and those who wish to learn new devices. Please attend one of the Basic Computing sessions before signing up for Basic Internet in February! This series will prepare you for both typical usage and the Northstar digital literacy basic computers assessment exam.
