Book Discussion Groups
There are both formal and informal book discussion groups meeting locally. The Library sponsors regular book discussion groups for children, for teens, and for adults.
In addition to these resources, you can join an online group. Here are some recommendations:
The Book Group List gives everyone online the chance to participate in two different book discussions each month. Titles for upcoming discussion are posted weeks ahead and participants can help select future titles for discussion.
Reader’s Club is a service of the Public Library of Charlotte and Mecklinburg County (NC). Reviews by library staff, local and long distance patrons, and celebrities are posted regularly.
