Coding Class for Kids @Central Electronic Classroom

Students entering 5th grade and up are invited to attend an exciting, free 3-day coding workshop at the Berkeley Public Library! Students will be introduced to the basics of programming using Python, developing practical programming skills. Registration is required; register using this link. Space in the electronic classroom is limited. 

Held in the Electronic Classroom, 3rd Floor, Central Berkeley Public Library

Robotics Workshop

We're teaming with Decade Prep: a team of teen robotics competition winners with adult co-teachers here @THPS branch to teach 4th to 8th grade students robotics! Join us on Saturday August 3 at 12:30pm. Limited space, please arrive early. 

Learn about science, engineering, and how things work. 

Develop skills: problem solving, working in a team, communication, and presentation skills. 

And most importantly: build and play with robots!

Coding for Kids: Scratch Games! @Central CCR

Join BayRise for another Coding for Kids series!

All of these games are friendly introductions to universal coding concepts through the easy and engaging medium of Scratch, block-based coding language. Kids will have fun designing their own characters and game elements while learning how to program, and eventually make their own games.
