Arranging class visits at the Central Library
Please give us at least one week's notice! Schedule your class visit by calling 510 981-6135, or emailing one of our Teen Services Librarians. In your message, be sure to let us know:
- How and when you can best be reached to finalize plans
- The topic of your class project
- The number of students in the class
- The grade level(s) of the students
We provide library orientations, research assistance, or introductions to our databases and the Library catalog. Internet use during class visits isn't practical, but we can help individual students and teachers locate online resources for later use.
Let us know about assignments!
If we know what you're planning, we can let you know the extent of our resources and help gather them. You can drop off assignments at the Reference Desk, on the second floor of the Central Library. You may also call call 510 981-6135, or email one of our Teen Services Librarians.
