How it works

Sign up at any Berkeley Public Library branch and receive a sign-up prize and game details.
Submit book reviews online OR in person at the library.
Turn in at least one book review and receive a free book, a $5 Pegasus Books coupon, AND an automatic entry in the teen summer raffle!
Each review entered after that will get you another free book and an additional entry in the raffle. Raffle prizes include movie passes, gift certificates to local book stores, flash drives, and more!
People who review 10 or more titles will be entered into the grand prize drawing for the aucoustic guitar or the Samsung Galaxy Tab computer!
Our favorite reviews will go on the Berkeley Public Library Teen Blog!

This program is intended for people entering grades 7 through 12.
Players should read books that they enjoy and that are appropriate for their current reading level.
Reviews of books, graphic novels, and recorded books (CD, tape or downloadable) will count as entries into the Summer Reading Raffle. One review per manga series, please.
Books may be read in any language.
Players may sign up at only one Berkeley Public Library location and collect only one set of regular prizes during the summer.
Free books and Pegasus coupons may be collected at any Berkeley Public Library location.
Due to the time required to review sign-up materials, the free book and Pegasus coupon may not be collected the same day as participants sign up.
All regular prizes must be claimed in person by Saturday, August 20; August raffle prize winners may negotiate a later pick-up date.
