How it works

Sign up at any Berkeley Public Library branch and receive a sign-up prize and game details.
Submit book reviews online OR in person at the library.
Turn in at least one book review and receive a free book, a $5 Pegasus Books coupon, AND an automatic entry in the teen summer raffle!
Each review entered after that will get you another free book and an additional entry in the raffle.
Raffle prizes include a $50 Visa gift card, flash drives, and additional gift cards for food, books, movies, and music. See sponsor list below.

Participants should be between the ages of 13 and 18.
Players should read books that they enjoy and that are appropriate for their current reading level.
Reviews of books, graphic novels, and recorded books (CD, tape or downloadable) will count as entries into the Summer Reading Raffle.
Books may be read in any language.
Players may sign up at only one Berkeley Public Library location and collect only one set of regular prizes during the summer.
The free book and Pegasus coupon may be collected at any Berkeley Public Library location.
Due to the time required to review sign-up materials, the free book and Pegasus coupon may not be collected the same day as participants sign up.
All regular prizes must be claimed in person by Saturday, August 14; August raffle prize winners may negotiate a later pick-up date.
