Training FOR Grantseekers at the Berkeley Public Library
Is your nonprofit organization seeking funding?
Come to a two-part workshop especially for beginning
grantseekers, taught by the Foundation Center. Class starts
with Grantseeking Basics, followed by a hands-on introduction
to the Foundation Directory Online. Grantseeking Basics covers
researching and applying for foundation grants and includes an
overview of the world of philanthropy, considerations before
applying for grants, and resources to research and prepare your
proposals. The Foundation Directory Online has information on
thousands of grantmakers and the funding they have given.
Call 510-981-6148 to register. Class is free, but registration
is required.
Wheelchair accessible. To request a sign language interpreter, real-time captioning, materials in large print or Braille, or other accommodations for this event, call 510-981-6106 or 510-548-1240 (TTY).
