We are excited to announce that the Berkeley Information Network (BIN) has been redesigned and now has its own web address: berkeleypubliclibrary.org/bin
"Reading History" is a new account feature that enables you to keep track of your circulation history (the items that you have checked out). Participation is voluntary.
Ken Akimoto's "Warm Tones"
Bay Area based international photographer, Ken Akimoto, exhibits color and black and white prints at the Berkeley Public Library's Central Catalog Lobby, 2090 Kittredge at Shattuck in downtown Berkeley, from July 5th through September 28th.

Maile Chapman presents her book: Your Presence is Requested at Suvanto

Berkeley Public Library was thrilled to host a reading and slide presentation by Maile Chapman of her first novel, YOUR PRESENCE IS REQUESTED AT SUVANTO. The program, sponsored by the Friends of the Berkeley Public Library, was held Saturday, May 22nd, 2pm, in the Central Library (2090 Kittredge @ Shattuck, downtown Berkeley)
3rd floor Community Meeting Room and was followed by book sales and a book signing.
