BERKELEY PUBLIC LIBRARY TAKING PART IN "SNAPSHOT:
ONE DAY IN THE LIFE OF CALIFORNIA LIBRARIES"
Berkeley Public Library will compile statistics, users' comments, photographs, and other data chronicling a typical library day. The results collected at Berkeley Public Library will be added to those of other libraries across California, by the California Library Association (CLA), to show how libraries provide invaluable services to California citizens. Book Into Film: Rear Window
Discussion Group at Berkeley Public Library
Berkeley Public Library invites you to participate in an examination of Rear Window, a critically acclaimed film based on Cornell Woolrich's short story of the same name. Discussion group participants will read the book at home and then gather at 1:30 on Sunday, September 12, 2010 in the 3rd floor Community Meeting Room at Berkeley's Central Library, 2090 Kittredge Street to view the film together.
