Find your ancestors! Learn a language!
The Berkeley Public Library now features two new databases through the online catalog.
Ancestry is an online site packed with genealogical reference material, available to use inside the Central Library and the Branches.
Mango Languages is a language learning system that teaches actual conversation skills for Chinese (Mandarin), French, Japanese, Italian, Spanish & English for Spanish speakers. You may choose a basic course to prepare for a short trip overseas or a more complete course to move beyond basic language skills. Available for use at home or other remote locations, as well as in the library. Find these, and many more resources, at the "Search Online Resources" link on the Library's homepage, berkeleypubliclibrary.org. Look under subject Genealogy for the Ancestry link and under Language Learning for Mango.
