Don't Know Much About......Club @Central

In this month's "Don't Know Much About ....." Club, we will focus on Clothing: Repair, Repurpose and Recycling.

We all know there are major issues with sustainable practices in the fashion industry.

It's time we contemplate the lifecycle of clothing and wake up to what we can do to combat waste and pollution.

To speak about this issue, our expert will be eco-artist and activist Nora Scully.

We also invite participants to bring in their repaired or repurposed clothing for a bit of show and tell.*

Stuffed Animal Sleepover @North

What happens at the library when it's closed? We will share our mysterious world at night with your stuffed animals at North Branch's Stuffed Animal Sleepover.

Drop off your stuffed animal to North Branch on Wednesday, May 15 and Thursday, May 16. When you drop off your stuffy, you will sign permission slips and name tags. If you want, you can read a bedtime story to your stuffed animal and say goodnight.

Pick up your stuffed animal on Friday, May 17. In the morning, everyone will see pictures of what their stuffed animals were up to at the library after dark
