The Berkeley Public Library has a wonderful group of enthusiastic volunteers who work with the public as Technology Helpers, Computer Class Helpers, Knitting instructors and other positions. We ask volunteers to work at least two hours a week and make a minimum three month commitment. The Library provides training appropriate to the task. Applicants may apply through:

- Please submit your application using the online form. If you have difficulty filling out the form please use the pdf form that is linked here on the website. We will also have paper applications for those who are not comfortable filling out an online form at all the desk at our branches
- Return the completed form to the Check Out Desk or scan and email to LibraryVolunteerServ@berkeleyca.gov.
