Teens and Young Adults, come celebrate National Poetry Month by joining poet Hanne Williams-Baron, in the Teen Room for a generative writing workshop around the theme of friendship odes. Read and discuss friendship ode poems by contemporary poets and have fun crafting an ode to, about, and/or for your BFF!
At the end of the workshop, participants will be invited to share their poems in a supportive space with their peers. Hanne will write alongside participants and share her own work in efforts to praise the beauty of the first draft!
