Join us at West Branch Library for January's CraftLab: Figure Drawing! Practice observing and sketching a live human model. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced artist, this class provides a welcoming environment to practice and improve your skills. Materials provided or bring your own.
Ruju Rathod is a full-time architect specializing in sustainability. She has been practicing sustainability for the last 17 years.
She is an artist who started learning sketching at the age of 8, dabbled in water colors at 10 and oil painting at 15. She has learnt nature drawing, still-life and portraits in school. Having an innate flair of art and math, she pursued architecture after high school and got a chance to explore woodworking, ceramics, photography and live figure drawing as electives.
She is an Emeryville resident and in her free time, she creates works of art, engages within the community and is also part of an Indian music choir.
