Mend It! will be taking a break in December. Meetings will resume on Thursday, January 25th, 2024. See you in the new year!
Need to hem some pants? Sew on a button? Come mend clothes with friends! Needles, thread, and sewing machines will be available 5pm to 7pm the last Thursday of the month in the North Branch Community Meeting Room. Staff are available to consult on your projects and to teach basic mending skills. Bring your own project.
Bring your creative ideas to this monthly drop-in art and crafts studio. Topics and projects will vary each session. While project materials are provided, attendees are also welcome to bring their own work-in-progress pieces and tools. Whether you're looking to learn a new project or just have some fun with like-minded individuals, CraftLab is the perfect space for you. Teaching artist Raine Robichaud will lead a workshop where 8-12 year olds can explore and experiment with screenprinting and take home a cool DIY totebag.
