We will have a short break for the end of year, and be back with our Spring series at Central and West in January!

About MOCHA:

Join us for an afternoon of autumnal arts & crafts!

We will be painting pumpkins and and making prints with painted leaves. 

We will provide all materials and serve light, seasonal refreshments. 

This program is open to all but instruction will be minimal so we suggest ages 8 and up. 

It will be held in the Tarea Hall Pittman South Branch Community Room.

Join us in the North children's section on Fridays from 3:30pm to 5pm for weekly craft projects.

Stop by West Branch to enjoy a peaceful fall craft of leaf printing using air dry clay.   

All materials will be provided but feel free to bring your own leaves! 

"So Make the Friendship Bracelets..." is the lyric in Taylor Swift's song, You're On Your Own, Kid, that sparked the interest in friendship bracelets for Swifties and more.

Hey tweens, stop by West and make a beautiful bracelet or hemp cord necklace for yourself or a friend.  All materials and  snacks provided.   Begins September 3, 3:30-5:00pm.    

This program occurs every first Tuesday of the month. 

Bring your garment to the Berkeley Public Library and learn mending with Muzhik, the traveling tailor and artful mender! This will be a hands on, practical workshop, troubleshooting garment repair and giving participants the skills and confidence they need to repair their own clothes. Come prepared to handle needle & thread!

First 10 signed up will be eligible. 

Join us in collaboration with Hella Artsy for a mixed media craft. 

We will be making Koi ponds with different paper and various art materials. 

This workshop will be led by Chanel London, the founder of Hella Artsy, an art education community organization. 

All materials will be provided.

This event is great for ages 9-15 but all middle school and high school aged people are welcome!

This event will be held in the Tarea Hall Pittman South Branch Library Community Room.

Need a laugh and a space to make collage art? Join us at THP South for a chuckle while you craft. 

Come make collage art as we watch sketch comedy shows courtesy of our digital library collections on Hoopla and Kanopy. 

This will be an open art studio style program where all materials are provided.
