Let's talk about movies! Join us for a screening of Birdman (2014, R). After the movie our group will have a short discussion about the film and select what we will watch next month. This is a long movie, 2 hours, but we will have lots of snacks to keep us fortified!
Starring Michael Keaton, Edward Norton and Emma Stone and directed by Alejandro G. Iñárritu, Birdman won an Oscar for Best Picture, as well as many other awards. "A fading actor, best known for his portrayal of a superhero, plans a comeback by appearing in a Broadway play. However, his attempts to become more altruistic, rebuild his career and reconnect with friends and family prove more difficult than expected".
