Jazz Tribute to Muziki Roberson @THPS

muziki roberson

Join us as we pay tribute to Bay Area Jazz Legend Muziki Roberson.

Muziki Roberson was a highly respected jazz pianist who had a unique style of performing that would evoke the true feeling of this soulful genre. His music was truly spiritual and he inspired and influenced Bay Area jazz music deeply.

He passed away in late August 2022 but is still remembered and celebrated by the Bay Area jazz community and his friends and family.

This tribute jazz concert will be performed by the Michael Marcus Quartet with Michael Marcus on woodwinds, Matt Clark on keys, Heshima Mark Williams on bass, Michael Spencer on drums and with special guest Noel Jewkes on sax and flute.

They will play on August 10th at 6pm in the Tarea Hall Pittman South Branch Community Room.

Berkeley Public Library would like to thank the Jazz Foundation of America for sponsoring this special concert.
