Berkeley Public Library is celebrating freedom by having it's first Juneteenth Celebration!

Join us for a day of games, crafts, music, dance and book giveaways.

Come play Uno, spades, bid whist, dominos and chess.

Crafts for children will be led the Museum of Children's Art. 

Get your face painted and enjoy coloring activities. 

Learn line dances with fitness instructor Carah. 

Shop handmade goods from local Black vendors. 

Learn about the history of the Berkeley Juneteenth Festival, currently in its' 37th year of running.

Finish the day by grooving to the sounds of youth band, Prospect in the Central Teen Room. 

Juneteenth is a day of joy and remembrance! Celebrate with us at Berkeley Public Library!
