CraftLab: Paper Beads @West

Whether you're looking to learn a new project or just have some fun with like-minded individuals, CraftLab is the perfect space for you. Join us for an afternoon of creativity and let's build something amazing together!

This month we will be making beautiful paper beads out of recycled paper and glue along with basic jewelry making if you so choose. You're invited to bring your own leftover craft paper, magazines and even junk mail! We will also provide all the materials you need.  It will be an easy-to-follow, fun, relaxing process.

Playreaders @Central

Playreaders return to the Central Library!

Playreaders do exactly what the name says: it's an interactive program where participants read aloud from plays, changing parts frequently so everyone gets a chance to bring theater to life.

Plays are usually selected by the participants, during an annual vote.  Scripts are provided by the library. For this event, we'll be reading Tom Stoppard's "The Real Inspector Hound", a murder mystery set in a theater during the performance of a... murder mystery.  Confusing?  Surprisingly not, and both funny and biting.
