Join us for a poetry reading and conversation with Aya de León (Berkeley Poet Laureate), Julia Segre (Berkeley Youth Poet Laureate), and Serena Griffin (Berkeley Vice Youth Poet Laureate).
This reading will take place at the Central Branch (5th Floor) on Monday, May 13th at 6pm. (It was rescheduled from April 22nd.)

Listen to author, professional organizer, and certified life coach, Shira Gill, in conversation with local prop stylist, Leila Nichols, about her latest book, Organized Living. After their conversation about Organized Living, Shira will answer questions from the audience.

Maureen Hurley reads her poetry, then sits for an interview and discussion, as part of the Clearly Meant series.
The Color of Law recounted how government at all levels created segregation. Just Action describes how we can begin to undo it. This book was chosen by the Berkeley Public Library’s Racial Justice Advisory Group (RJAG) as the second in a series of “all staff reads." Books will be available for sale at the event.
