Old-time Tune Jam hosted by Berkeley Old Time Music Convention

Every third Friday of the month, come up to the Central Library 5th Floor for this old-time tune jam hosted by the Berkeley Old Time Music Convention!

We'll play traditional instrumental tunes from the American old-time repertoire on fiddle, banjo, guitar, mandolin, and all reasonably compatible instruments. Everyone, at all levels is welcome, including listeners — but note that it's a jam session, playing tune after tune, not a class or workshop or instructed experience.

Berkeley Record Club presents "Sweater Weather Music" @Central A&M

Which songs bring you comfort when it’s cold outside? What kind of music helps you brave the chilly seasons?

Our December listening party is all about music that warms the heart and soul — whether it’s current events, the lack of sunshine, or the literal wind chill factor that has you wishing for warmer, sunnier days.

We’ll take turns playing songs and sharing why we chose them for this session. You can also attend just to listen, relax, and spend time with fellow music lovers.

Don’t forget to wear your favorite sweater! 🧣
