Join us at the North Branch of the Berkeley Public Library for a National Novel Writing Month kickoff party! We welcome writers of all ages and all things to learn more about NaNoWriMo, set reachable goals for their writing, and meet some folks to share drafts and genre love with. Our staff includes writers of novels, film, fan fiction, memoir, poetry and more, so you'll fit right in. Expect light snacks, a social mixer, some inspirational words and swag for the journey ahead, and a curated collection of borrowable books and take forever writing tools.
