Playreaders do exactly what the name says: it's an interactive program where participants read aloud from plays, changing parts frequently so everyone gets a chance to bring theater to life.
September's Play will be August Wilson's How I Learned What I Learned. This one-man show chronicles Wilson's life as a Black artist in the Hill District in Pittsburgh. From stories about his first jobs to his first loves and his experiences with racism, How I Learned What I Learned gives an inside look into one of the most celebrated playwriting voices of the twentieth century.
Why not come experience plays they way they were meant to be....Heard!
