Additions to empower your resume could include a "Position of interest" line following your name or a Headline that announces the position you are targeting. A Summary section near the top could list the 5 most compelling reasons you will succeed in the position. You could also add sections covering Technical Skills, Management Capabilities, and Leadership and Productivity Capabilities. Ways to gain visibility outside of your resume, such as a fully developed LinkedIn Profile, can reinforce the strengths you show in your resume.
