Resumes: Tips From Interview Questions That Can Strengthen Your Resume

- (ended)

Beyond getting interview invitations your resume can also set you up for success in the interview process. Consider including attention-getting claims or company names that will impress your reader. Or include teasers that lead an interviewer to ask questions you are ready and eager to answer. You can set a positive tone and quicken the pace for the reader. Succinct, punchy statements may convey urgency and passion. Offering a glimpse of you in action succeeding in meeting goals can be part of the mix also. Additionally, a section at the end of your resume may be labeled “Known for:” followed by several commendable character traits (that match job posting qualifications). Examples could be: “[Known for] Stepping up to meet needs beyond the job description” or “[Known for] Empathy in resolving conflicts.”
