Berkeley Public Library presents In the Stax a Music Series
We continue our intimate live performance music series with poet and activist Donté Clark performing readings of his poetry. He will be accompanied by Juan Castille on percussion.
Donté Clark is a poetic soul and child of the blues.
An electric performer reminiscent of a field song in the trenches of modern America. Donté is a Richmond Ca native, who’s published three compilations of poetry, with his recent release Psalms paying ode to Black American music. Now available at fmpublishing.us
This event starts at 6pm in the stacks at the Tarea Hall Pittman South Branch.
