Understanding Alzheimer's and Dementia: first in series October 2 at 12p
- (ended)

Join us for the first in a three-part education program hosted by Dr. Anu Agarwal and sponsored by the Alzheimer's Association. We’ll learn about: the impact of Alzheimer’s, the difference between Alzheimer's and dementia, and treatment options.

Dr. Anupam Agarwal is a consultant for the Veteran’s Administration of Northern California Department of Geriatrics and Extended Care. She has worked over forty years as a physician and healthcare leader.

The Alzheimer’s Association is a worldwide voluntary health organization dedicated to Alzheimer’s care, support, and research. Their mission at the Association is to lead the way to end Alzheimer’s and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support. The Alzheimer’s Association is here all day, every day for people facing Alzheimer’s and other dementia through their free 24/7 Helpline (800-272-3900) and website at alz.org.
