In celebration of National Poetry Month, join lifelong North Branch neighbor, Alan Bern, to hear Berkeley stories from In the Pace of the Path, his new Berkeley book about growing up in Berkeley and working in its public library for over twenty years. Alan will have copies for sale at the event.
Attendee participation
In the Pace of the Path is a hybrid of Alan’s prose, poetry, and photos: he will talk about combining his photos and words. If you’d like, feel free to bring your own photos printed out to combine with your own words and share with other attendees.
