Javier Zamora In Conversation

Register to attend New York Times bestselling author, Javier Zamora, in conversation at Berkeley City College auditorium this April. He will be discussing his 2022 book, Solito: A Memoir, which retells his months-long trek across Guatemala, Mexico, and eventually through the Sonoran Desert from El Salvador as a nine-year old. He traveled unaccompanied by boat, bus, and foot. After a coyote abandoned his group in Oaxaca, Javier managed to make it to Arizona with the aid of other migrants.
