This workshop on developing unique essays focuses on teaching participants basic strategies for developing a series of interchangeable written “modules” that can be used to address the most popular aspects of multiple scholarship essay prompts. Participants learn to analyze and identify 3 typical varieties of the scholarship essay and walk away with a clear sense of the most relevant content, details, and facts that must be incorporated into strong application materials.
Rebecca Lippman brings a decade of experience as a UCLA instructor and advisor at the Center for Scholarships and Scholar Enrichment (formerly the Scholarship Resource Center), where she coached undergraduate students through the process of identifying, applying for, and managing scholarships. Her students have received over $2.5 million in funding from numerous organizations.
