We will focus on questions around resumes—PLUS best practices in updating your LinkedIn profile. You can substantially improve your profile by replacing LinkedIn’s default settings. You will learn to personalize your L-I website address, select an image (banner) at the top, and swap out your headshot to meet today’s best practices. Then we will show ways to set up the headline that fits below your headshot. Hint: many people use their job title, but additional possibilities may match important key words more closely. Then we will show how to organize your About section and adapt the Experience section of your resume to the LinkedIn practice of showing just 2-3 lines before requiring the viewer to click to see more.
