Film Club @West: Train to Busan

Let's talk about movies! Join us for a screening of Train to Busan (2016, NR) directed by Yeon Sang-ho and starring Gong Yoo, Jung Yu-mi, and Ma Dong-seok. After the movie our group will have a short discussion and select what we will watch next month. There will be snacks!

Descibed as "a smart horror that contrasts the hyper-cleanliness and efficiency of South Korean life with bloody, neck-biting chaos" (Kate Muir,Times, UK), this intense zombie movie will have you on the edge of your seat!

Death Café @West

You are invited to a Death Café experience where people, often strangers, gather to discuss death.

The objective is “to increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives”. The experience will be a group discussion of death with no agenda, objectives or themes. It is a discussion group rather than a grief support or counseling session. Death Cafés help people talk about death and dying in a supportive, unstructured way.
