Join Liza Algar, Certified Professional Organizer, to learn the essential skills for being more organized and productive. We’ll start with the basic principles for organizing any room. Learn how to clear clutter, what to do with stuff you don’t want, and how to set up systems that improve flow and functionality in your space. Liza will also apply these same techniques to other stuff in your life, from managing paper, mail, and your overflowing email inbox, to prioritizing your time and improving your productivity and well-being. Let her less-is-more philosophy set you up for life!

In the Stax is a live-music series that takes place among the shelves of the Berkeley Public Library.

In October, West Branch hosts local songwriter and performer Jim Carter. He is a past winner of the California Songwriters Association's Best Song of the Year contest and was a long-time M.C. at the Freight and Salvage open mics.

Holidays are approaching and now is a great time to do some genealogy research to share with your family. Ancestry.com is available through the library and this workshop will show you how to make the most out of this powerful resource. All ages welcome! West Branch Community Meeting Room.

We will be serving up a free mocktail and providing a space for reading and sharing. 

We will chat about what we are reading, spend some time reading, then share more at the end for those interested in chatting. Others are welcome to keep reading if they wish.

Halloween Tea Party (Registration Required)

Children and their caregivers are invited to a costume tea party!  

Dress up in your favorite Halloween costume!.  Join us in the North Branch meeting room on Saturday, October 26 at 3pm for a tea party hosted by Power of a Princess. Listen to a not-so-scary story, make a craft, and enjoy cookies & juice.
