Every four years the world comes together to battle for the World Cup of soccer! 

Which colors will be flying in victory come the end of the competition? The red, yellow and black of Germany, the orange of Holland, the blue and white of Argentina or the legendary yellow and green of Brazil...or maybe something totally unexpected like the red, white and blue of USA. 

Come show support for your favorite soccer playing nation in a family-friendly environment at all five Berkeley Public Library locations. 

Join us for a series of winter-themed paper crafting sessions! All supplies and instructions will be provided. This program is most suitable for preschool and kindergarten aged children.

Follow Jack and his trusty cow, Buttercup through their misadventures with a set of magic beans, a giant, and a beanstalk!

Learn how to make and publish a zine, no experience required. Use found materials to create collages & poems. Maybe combine both into a collage poetry zine!

Hey teens!  Stop by the Central Library after school for a delicious plate of nachos.  Listen, these aren’t just any nachos, these are squachos…the nacho cheese sauce includes butternut squash.  We’ll start serving at 3:30pm, until all gone. We will prepare and serve the squachos from the Library’s Charlie Cart.

Join us in the Meeting Room at North Branch for a casual LEGO free build. Children ages 5 and up are welcome to play with LEGOs and get creative with original designs.

Kids of all ages can play bingo holiday-style in the meeting room at North Branch. Each bingo round has a chance to win a small prize.  Come and have fun with us on Monday, December 19 from 3pm to 4pm!

Please join us Thursday mornings at 10:30am (weather permitting) for live music, movement activities, and stories with our story time band. For children ages 2-6, but younger and older children are welcome.
