San Francisco Magician Perry Yan offers a magic show has been time tested through thousands of performances for kids and families! Perry’s Magic Show will have the kids AND adults entertained from start to finish!
This program will take place on the lawn of the North Branch.

Youth Open Mic Night
Come by Youth Spirit Artworks, on 1740 Alcatraz Ave (about a 15 min walk from the Tarea Hall Pittman South Branch) for a youth open mic night! You can sign up to perform or show up to support, all are welcome. There will be free food and Berkeley Public Library swag. Open to performers ages 16-25 years old. All poetry, music, dance, or other performance art is welcome. There will be special performances by the Berkeley Youth Poet Laureates and more!

Opera at the Library @THPS
Joined classically trained soprano Gabrielle Lochard for an evening of opera at the library. Gabrielle will perform, as well as provide the audience with some background education on opera and its significance in their life.
Hula Performance by Mahea Uchiyama Center for International Dance
Mahea Uchiyama Center for International Dance will perform a Hula dance at the Central Children's Room. Come and see intricate combinations of footwork, hip movements, and gestures illustrating prayers, honor songs and historical epics, the movement is connected to the words which are being chanted or sung.
