Conrad J. Benedicto, musician and author of Musalya's Gift visits the library for a reading and kulintang performance.

Learn about the Japanese art of Taiko drumming. Feel the thunderous sounds of the drums as language, culture, and history combine into an exciting educational experience. You may even get a chance to play the drums yourself!

All ages are welcome.

The Bay Area Jazz Mobile is coming to the Tarea Hall Pittman South Branch/Tool Lending Library parking lot for a live concert! 

The Bay Area Jazz Mobile is a mobile/traveling jazz venue. A large van is filled with the necessary equipment to provide jazz concerts, clinics and workshops in parks, recreation centers, urban plazas, schools, farmers' markets, senior centers, cultural centers and city and county festivals throughout the Bay Area.

In celebration of Black History Month, join us on the lawn at North Branch for African drumming, songs, and dancing! Masks are required for everyone's safety.
