Asheba - Caribbean Music for Children @THPS

Come enjoy, dance and sing along with the upbeat, joyful music of Asheba! Asheba is a musical storyteller who specializes in children's music and calypso, the music and folkloric tradition of Trinidad, Asheba's homeland. Hope and happiness are the focus of his songs, which range from original melodies to classic children's music with a Caribbean twist! 

Ages 0-6.

Musical Story Time @Freight & Salvage

Please join us at the Freight & Salvage, one of Berkeley's oldest and most beloved music venues, for a special musical story time series with the Berkeley Public Library's Story Time Band. These FREE events will take place every Thursday (except for 3/7/24) at 10:30 a.m. from November 2023 through March 2024. Each session will feature live music, movement activities, and read-aloud stories for children ages 2-7. See you there!

DJ Lance Rock & Friends Musical Story Time @Freight & Salvage

This week we're so excited for a special guest!

DJ Lance Rock of Yo Gabba Gabba, hit show on Nickelodeon, and Illustrator Jerome Lu will do a reading of his new children’s book The ABC’s of Awesomeness, with our Story Time Band kicking things off at 10:30am! Meet-and-greet will follow, and books will be available for sale.
