Come find new yarn and new inspiration at our yarn exchange! You are welcome to bring any clean yarn to exchange (no short pieces or scraps, please), and come away with a new skein. We will also be doing a demonstration of CreativeBug, our online craft resource that you can access with your library card. Feel free to bring a yarn project to work on as well. Tea & cookies will be provided.
CraftLab: Macrame Plant Hangers @West
Bring your creative ideas to this monthly drop-in art and crafts studio. Topics and projects will vary each session. While project materials are provided, attendees are also welcome to bring their own work-in-progress pieces and tools. Whether you're looking to learn a new project or just have some fun with like-minded individuals, CraftLab is the perfect space for you. Join us for an afternoon of creativity and let's build something amazing together!
June's craft is macrame plant hangers! Learn some easy or more intricate weaving and knotting techniques.
Zipper Pouches for Teens @Central CMR
During this workshop, participants will learn the basics of the sewing machine through creating a zipper pouch. Through the project, attendees will learn how to attach a zipper to a project and use a zipper foot. Simultaneously, this project will include a fabric stamping station where participants can stamp their pouch with household materials such as lemons, keys, and rubber bands to create custom patterns on their fabric.

Appliqué Exploration for Teens @Central CMR
Learn how to create your own unique and artistic fabric collages using a technique called rough edge appliqué! We will learn about how to prepare and collage fabric onto clothing or as a standalone art piece by attaching fusible interfacing, basting, and pinning. We will also hear about how these pieces can be incorporated into clothing or finished with an overview of quilting and bias tape.

Charles M Schulz Museum: Peanuts On the Go
We are celebrating Snoopy's 56th Birthday! Explore Schulz world famous Peanuts comic strip with hands-on crafts led by a Schulz Museum educator.
Program is designed for children in Pre-K through 2nd Grade. Registration is required and limited to 34 children.
