Berkeley, November 5, 2013 – Berkeley Public Library presents a free seminar for entrepreneurs and small business owners seeking to comply with the new Affordable Care Act’s rules for small businesses, The Impact of Health-Care Reform on Your Business on November 13, at 2:00 pm, in the 3rd floor Community Meeting Room of the Central Library, 2090 Kittredge Street. This free seminar is part of a series for small businesses offered by the Library.

This seminar provides a general overview of the Affordable Care Act and how it impacts small businesses. Topics to be covered include key provisions of the Act, individual mandates, employer shared responsibility, reporting requirements, penalties, costs, taxes and fees and State Exchanges.
