Invite You to Meet your Neighbors

Berkeley, July 25, 2014—On Tuesday, August 5, 2014 from 6 pm-8 pm, the Central Library and the Claremont Branch Library will join other neighborhood and civic groups in marking National Night Out, an annual event designed to build community spirit and encourage a greater sense of neighborhood awareness. The Claremont Branch at 2940 Benvenue Avenue will have bubbles, sidewalk chalk and other family-friendly activities out for folks who come by to say “hello.” The Central Library will host children’s crafts and a surprise for adults outside the Library entrance at 2090 Kittredge Avenue. Library staff will be on hand to tell you all about services offered by the Berkeley Public Library! Members of the Berkeley Police and Fire Department will drop by to visit, too.
